Welcome to Haworths.
Our business philosophy is simple – not to be the biggest but to be the regions premier accountancy practice and to add value by working proactively with our range of client businesses throughout East and North Lancashire, North Yorkshire, Craven and the Lune valley through our regional offices.
At Haworths we are proud of our client base working equally well with some of the regions acclaimed smaller owner managed businesses through to some of the areas most prestigious big corporate company names.
Haworths day to day work is the preparation of statutory annual accounts, audit work and tax returns however we pride ourselves on our investment in highly skilled staff and processes so that we can offer practical help and advice on today’s complex, ever changing and increasingly bureaucratic business environment. Our range of services include specialist tax planning, corporate finance, wealth management, (through our sister company Haworths Financial Services Limited which is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Services Authority), and business development. Our aim is to be an integral part of our clients business whenever they need specific advice and help.
Haworths are members of Charter Group, a national network of high quality independent accounting practices. As part of our membership we are compelled to have an annual quality review of our work. We were also nominated as a finalist in the 2006 Accountancy Age awards selected from hundreds of small to medium sized practices from throughout the UK for our commitment to high quality service and the development of our people processes and services.
We are an owner managed business and our day to day operations are supervised by our two directors Mark Schofield and Paul Spencer.
